My work focused on optimizing the Mastering product, ensuring seamless interactions, engaging experiences, and improved revenue and monetization across the platform.















Achievements
Successful Design Strategy
I influenced the business to generate actionable data and secure a user testing budget, which resulted in $1M in incremental annual revenue, a 103% increase in songs mastered, and a 14% rise in cross-product adoption.
Agile Innovation
We introduced the fresh Waitzine concept, which I successfully pitched to leadership using data to justify its value. Despite initial reluctance, this became the most impactful initiative, continuing to drive engagement to this day.
Risk and Impact Management
By shifting leadership's focus toward user testing, I saved the company hundreds of thousands of dollars by halting risky features and prioritizing user-driven solutions. This strategy not only increased revenue but also boosted user satisfaction through well-informed product development.

Growing Influence
Building trust requires diplomacy, strategy, and consistent execution over time. In environments where leadership strongly drives its own ideas, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data is essential for guiding better decisions and fostering collaboration across teams.
Tackling Resistance
Design thinking is key to solving complex problems and creating products users love, but non-design leaders may not see its value, especially when it takes time and resources. By building awareness and providing quick, impactful demonstrations, I reduced resistance and increased leadership’s willingness to invest in UX research.
Aesthetic Bias
While I recognized the importance of aesthetics in driving engagement, we quantified its impact through key metrics following UI updates. By the time I left, users were notably more attracted to the enhanced look and feel, which significantly influenced engagement and revenue.
